There are outdoor-specific models with rust-proof, sun-proof, and weather-resistant shells, "three-proof" electrical components, and sunshade and rain shelters; in high humidity areas, key components are specially coated to optimize ventilation and prevent moisture condensation.

2. How to choose the number of escalators based on passenger flow?
First, count the peak passenger flow, such as 5,000 people/hour from 2 to 5 pm on weekends and holidays in shopping malls. A single standard escalator transports about 4,000 to 6,000 people per hour, and it is reasonably allocated in combination with the site entrance and exit and floor layout. For example, 2 to 3 escalators may be needed for diversion at key points in the atrium of a shopping mall.

3. What are the energy-saving measures for escalators?
Use variable frequency drive, adjust the speed according to passenger flow, slow speed when empty and low passenger flow, and save 30% to 50% energy; optimize lighting, use energy-saving lamps and sensors, reduce brightness or turn off lights when no one is there; improve mechanical transmission and reduce friction resistance.
